Th e Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N2.4 billion for the purchase of Abuja Metro Plaza to serve as the Corporate Headquarters of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Th e Council gave the approval yesterday at its weekly meeting chaired by the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, at the State House in Abuja,
the chairman of NAHCON, Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed, has said. He said: “Th e approval was granted consequent upon the commission’s ability to raise the sum of N2 billion out of the N2.4 billion of the agreed price. “Th e balance of about N500 million which is about 20 per cent is to be funded from the commission’s 2017 budget appropriated capital expenditure.
