Testimony place, Island branch of Holy Ghost Christian Centre recently put together a five-day power and faith revival programme titled “God Can” with an economic conference, “coming out of recession” which took place on Saturday, June 10th at the prestigious four-point by Sheraton Hotel,Lekki with Dr. Amos Fenwa, the general overseer of the ministry and Pastor Femi Okanlawon, the Island branch (Testimony place) Pastor.
The programme and the business summit played host to Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo (managing director and chief executive officer of Fidelity Bank,PLC), Mr. Waheed Olagunju (the executive director, SMEs at the Bank of Industry), Mr. Uche Orji (managing director,
Nigeria Sovereign Investment Agency (NSIA), and Mr. Abiola Olaniran (Founder of Gamsole) who brought so much life experience to the discussion relating to the long bumpy road of the persevering entrepreneurs. One of the guest speakers said that to get out of recession, the economy needs to be revived. The problem is not if we are out of recession but the nature of the growth when we are out of recession. The business summit ended on a happy note as several lives were changed for the better with the knowledge impacted through presentations and discussions by the distinguished speakers.
Cobhams Asukwo was also on hand to electrify the audience. Other special guests were Rev. Funke Felix Adejumo of Agape Christian ministries, Rev. Abiodun Fatoyinbo of COZA, and Bishop Bernard Asare of Zion Praise Chapel, Ghana.
